Intellectual Property Rights
Introduction
This Intellectual Property Policy forms part of the Terms of Service governing your access to and use of
ModernMate’s websites, mobile applications, and other online services (collectively, the “Services”). It
explains the ownership of materials on the Services, the limited rights granted to you, and how to report
alleged infringement.
Ownership of the Services and Content
The Services and all content and materials therein—including, without limitation, trademarks, trade names,
text, displays, images, graphics, product reviews, videos, audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement
of such materials—are owned by ModernMate, its affiliates, or its licensors, and are protected by U.S. and
foreign patent, copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Permitted Use and Restrictions
Subject to these Terms, you may use the Services for your personal, non-commercial purposes only. Except as
expressly permitted by these Terms or with our prior written consent, you must not reproduce, distribute,
modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or
transmit any material on the Services. Except as expressly provided herein, nothing in these Terms grants, or
shall be construed as granting, any license or other rights to you under any patent, trademark, copyright, or
other intellectual property of ModernMate, Shopify, or any third party. Unauthorized use of the Services may
violate federal and state intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by
ModernMate.
Trademarks
ModernMate’s names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of ModernMate or its
affiliates or licensors. You must not use any such trademarks without the prior written permission of
ModernMate. Shopify’s name, logo, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Shopify.
All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans appearing on the Services are the
trademarks of their respective owners.
